The Rogue dip is mostly useless and gonna cause you a lot of frustration later on in the game when you are awaiting your spell-casting powerups: I think you will be gimped with this build too, for 2 main reasons: Greater Spell Penetration offsets caster level. Blinding Critical might be substituted with Staggering Critical if an “all or nothing” saving throw is undesired. Weapon Specialization, Improved Critical, Greater Weapon Focus, Critical Focus, and Greater Weapon Specialization to maximize damage.

Blind Fight softens invisible opponent penalties. Combat Casting to prevent Spellstrike fizzles. Accomplished Sneak Attacker maximizes 3d6 damage. I decided upon Improved Initiative at level 3 to offset the loss of Perfect Reflexes and maintain Initiative superiority for Sneak Attack and (much later) Lethal Focus. Power Attack because Elven Curve Blade are two-handed. There’s also the added benefit of Evasion, Light Armor Proficiency, and Sneak Attack.

Dipping three levels into Rogue to acquire Weapon Finesse, Improved Initiative, and Finesse Training. Starting with the Sword Saint archetype for Chosen Weapon. For example using Power Attack, and not Piranha Strike, confused me for quite awhile.Ġ1 - Magus: Power Attack, Chosen Weapon (Elven Curve Blade)Ġ3 - Rogue: Arcane Strike, Rogue Talent (Combat Trick )Ġ4 - Rogue: +1 Dexterity, Finesse Training (Elven Curve Blade)Ġ5 - Magus: Accomplished Sneak Attacker, Expeditious Retreat, VanishĠ6 - Magus: Magus Arcana (Arcane Accuracy), Enlarge Person, Reduce PersonĠ7 - Magus: Combat Casting, Frigid Touch, Mirror ImageĠ8 - Magus: +1 Intelligence, Spell Penetration, Glitterdust, InvisibilityĠ9 - Magus: Blind Fight, Magus Arcana (Enduring Blade), Blur, Cat’s Graceġ1 - Magus: Weapon Specialization (Elven Curve Blade), Displacement, Slowġ2 - Magus: +1 Intelligence, Dispel Magic, Fireballġ3 - Magus: Improved Critical (Elven Curve Blade), Greater Invisibility, Stoneskinġ4 - Magus: Greater Weapon Focus (Elven Curve Blade), Dimension Door, Shield of Dawnġ5 - Magus: Critical Focus, Magus Arcana (Ghost Blade), Ice Storm, Shoutġ6 - Magus: +1 Intelligence, Baleful Polymorph, Cloudkillġ7 - Magus: Blinding Critical, Cone of Cold, Vampiric Shadow Shieldġ8 - Magus: Magus Arcana (Bane Blade), Acidic Spray, Fire Snakeġ9 - Magus: Greater Weapon Specialization (Elven Curve Blade), Sirocco, True SeeingĢ0 - Magus: +1 Intelligence, Greater Spell Penetration, Disintegrate, Greater Dispel Magic I'm more versed in DnD 5e and Modiphius Conan than PF rule sets, and wanted to make sure I'm getting this right. but looking to see if it seems feasible and not too gimped. Not really intended to a p0w3r gam3r build. I wanted to make a Grimspawn Magus in Pathfinder Kingmaker who utilizes an Elven Curve Blade.
